How would you improve upon the process of the project?
Self Assessment
Time
Other
- well adding deteal to what we got
- We possibly could have improved on the process of the project by coming up with our ideas a little more quickly. For about 1.5 days, we couldn't really think of any format for the project, but we eventually settled on a board game. Basically, we could have improved our ideation part of the process. The rest of it was pretty solid.
- Overall I think we did pretty well so there's nothing we need to change
- I would improve my groups time mangentment better.
- I would improve by using the time I have effectively and fast, but effective
- Initially, it's kind of hard because I have really no idea what I've been asked but you figure it out, which is good practice since that seems to be the way they do it in high school and in real life.
Time
- I think that the project was rushed a little bit so I think giving us an extra day or two would have let us put our finishing touches and our own creative spin on the project.
- I would have just had more time in each step to really understand what each point is about and I was a minecraft user so more time to build the world would have been excellent.
- Make it earlier in the year so the process is not as rushed
Other
- I have thought about this question long and hard knowing that critical suggestions are crutial to developing an idea. With all that said, I will honestly, and I mean HONESTLY (and believe me if I could find something wrong with it I would) say that I find nothing to improve upon with this project. Period. I am sorry but, Period.
- Maybe at the end of the project, students could provide a formal 'Final Word' that shows what they think of the project and explain why they had decided to create said work. This would also reflect on what the group has learned in the process of building the project for that is a major part of the process of design. I feel that this would be a great way to show students that they are learning about their topic by doing this kind of work instead of just out of a textbook.
- I like how we weren't nessasarily focusing mainly on the process but it that it was still there underneath everything that we were doing. I guess I don't have any suggestions for improvement for the process because I like the way it turned out.
- More options on projects
- Provide more ways to get the project like other resources.
(Optional) Is there anything else you would like to share/ask about The Digital Playground Project?
- This may fall under the process category but I am not sure. I was very confused about the Digital Playground aspect of the whole thing when we first started on the project, and judging by the digitally changing, slightly evil sports arenas and what not that was on the brainstorming paper, I think everyone else was a little unclear about it too. I would just explain what you mean by a digital playground first.
- It really helped me develop an uderstanding of the relevence of history, and far more importantly, I learned from and enjoyed it emmensely. THANK YOU.
- I really enjoyed this project and I feel enlightened about the community now. I can now tell my children about Mount Lebanon the way it should be told.
